Yury Andreevich Tabunschikov
President of of NP "ABOK", Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Correspondent Member of Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences
Key research areas — mathematical modeling of the thermal mode of buildings; development of normative documents; experimental studies of the thermal mode of buildings in extreme climatic conditions. For the first time in world practice he developed the scientific bases of design of power effective buildings based on the system analysis of buildings as uniform heat power system and optimizing decisions. He performed scientific management of construction of two first in Russia residential multystoried power effective buildings.
He acted as the expert in a number of the international projects.
He carried out unique researches of a microclimate in cathedrals museums of the Moscow Kremlin in 1994 — 2000. It allowed to create scientific bases of optimization of parameters of internal climate for architecture monuments.
Editor-in-chief of magazines "Ventilation, Heating, Air Conditioning, Heat Supply and Building Thermal Physics "ABOK" and "Energy saving".
Head of the department of Moscow Architecture Institute (State Academy).
Under its guide 19 experts defended master's theses and 3 experts defended doctoral dissertations.
The author more than 400 scientific works, including seven monographs, including the "Mathematical modeling of the thermal mode of buildings" published in the USA in English, and also the member of creative collective to create of the first textbook for the architectural specialties "Engineering Equipment of Buildings and Constructions".
The member of the International Academy on quality of internal air, the honorary member of the International Ecopower Academy (IEA) of Azerbaijan, the member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), is awarded an honorary title of ASHRAE Fellow.
State and professional awards, honorary titles:
